THREE MONTHS STRONG!

The site is based on the lives of original characters who are sports entertainers / athletes. Beautiful Strangers has a more character-based approach. It dives deep into the stories on a wrestler's life both on and off-screen.

Set in the backdrop of a wrestling promotion, Worldwide Wrestling Force or the WWF, we will provide avenues for characters to be portrayed in different perspectives and platforms. From the on-screen persona often called as "gimmicks", the hardships of the independent scene, to sky-rocketing their careers, and dealing with backstage politics. We even offer the opportunity to portray the minds behind the scenes. The struggles to become a wrestler and to run a wrestling promotion in the modern world is a genre never fully explored- and it could mean a dosage of creativity. From portraying top wrestlers, aspiring athletes, business executives, celebrities etc- the opportunities in an industry with so many blurred lines cannot be clearer than ever.

The latest round of Superstars to be released from the WWF has been announced, with a couple of perhaps surprise inclusions being let go by the company.
WWE issued the following statement on its official website detailing who has been let go:
    -Natasha Marakov
    -Sergei Kozlov

This may come as a surprise to many coming off of the Russian’s recent run as one half of the most dominant tag team in recent memory, however it is believed Visa issues are to be behind the shock firing.

After a slow ascension to the top of the card at WWF’s Revolution facility, Ryan Gregory has done the unexpected and has quit WWE.

On the very night he retained his title against long-time friend and former tag partner BLANK, Gregory ended the March 2th edition of Ignite by abandoning his belt and walking out of the ring.

The departure leaves a vacuum of power at the developing territory as a WWF insider promises that tile will not remain vacant for long and a tournament would decide the next Revolution Champion in the coming weeks.

The end of an Era. WWF superstar Trevor Copeland’s in ring career came to an end this past Monday as the Superstar found himself in a losing battle against the Silverback himself Cory Chevelle. Despite a valiant attempt at a save on behalf of on screen friend Joey Bryant, Ragnarok was left for dead in the ring by the Savage Silverback.

The surprise exit comes shortly after Copeland was involved in a high profile photo leak as intimate photos of his partner, Cessily King appeared online and Copeland was believed to be the leaker, however WWF officials are remaining tight lipped on the subject. This has not stopped fans and journalists speculating about the decision to end the contract of one of the WWF’s most profitable stars. It is believed the recently enforced Zero Tolerance policy to sexual harassment was the key reason for Copeland’s exit.

We’re going to miss Ragnarok here, while we can’t vouch for him personally we’ll miss the character of Ragnarok. Those are some big shoes to fill, but we don’t doubt the next generation of WWF superstars will rise to the occasion.

Cory Chevelle has let the entire world know that he is ready for another title shot at the WWF. Coming off of a red hot rivalry with Ragnarok, the Silverback is looking to bring the animalistic rage and carnage he to the WWE title scene, and that's a good thing for him. The fact is that Chevelle needs the backing of the WWF’s board of directors if he is going to be the face of the company.

It's not that Chevelle doesn't have the crowd support to be the biggest name in the company, he often receives the loudest, albeit mostly negative, reaction from the fans at live events. He's one of the more popular stars in Camille Clark's locker room and even though he plays the bad guy, his merch is said to sell among the top 5 stars in the company.

So what could be holding him back? For one, he is incredibly violent. You just have to look at last week’s beat down of Ragnarok to see that maybe a man who will beat an industry legend bloody shouldn’t be the face of your company. While many were impressed by his showing against Ragnarok some felt he crossed a line in the moments before the show went off air. Despite these claims there seems to be one person firmly in his corner, GM of Ignite: Charlotte Valentine.

What does Charlotte see in the Silverback? Does her approval signal the opinion of the entire board or is Chevelle destined to be the kind of star who never picks up gold?

Stay tuned to WWF programming to see where all of this is heading. . .
